Our emergency care services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Some of the signs that your pet may require urgent medical attention include:

• Difficulty breathing
• Ingestion of a foreign object or toxic substance
• Broken bones
• Cuts, lacerations or puncture wounds
• Vomiting or diarrhea lasting longer than 24 hours
• Bleeding
• Trauma, such as a fall or being hit by a car
• Swollen or tender abdomen
• Difficulty urinating
• Lameness
• Disorientation
• Foaming at the mouth
• Convulsions/seizures
• Loss of consciousness

If you notice any of these signs, please seek help right away. Whenever possible, we recommend calling ahead when an emergency occurs. This allows us to evaluate the situation, provide first aid instructions and prepare the hospital and our team for your pet’s arrival. Of course, should a phone call not be possible, don’t hesitate to come directly in.
