Barbara

Barbara

Front Office/Bookkeeping/Part-time Equine Management

Barbara has been with Franklin Veterinary Clinic since 2016, beginning her career as a veterinary technician.  With in-depth experience and knowledge in all aspects of the clinic, she has recently transitioned to a position with a focus on management.

When not at the clinic, Barbara spends her time raising her two sons and enjoys reading and tending to their many animals. She compares raising boys to handling feral cats, a skill she’s perfected during her time with the clinic.  She’s thankful her boys have the opportunity to grow up around the second family they have made at Franklin Veterinary Clinic along with all the four-legged friends coming and going, both large and small.

Desirae

Desirae

Office Manager

With early childhood aspirations of becoming a wildlife biologist, Desirae has always had a great passion for helping animals of all species whether large or small, domesticated or wild, through compassion and patience.

Desirae began working in the veterinary field in 2011 and has been with Franklin Veterinary Clinic since 2013. She worked as a technician and receptionist for many years before beginning her current position as office manager for the practice.

When Desirae isn’t at the vet clinic, you can find her sewing, reading a good book or fishing and hunting with her three children and their father, Brand. Additionally, their family includes two beautiful dogs, Bodacious and Newt.

Lynette

Lynette

Receptionist

Apart from reptiles, Lynette loves all animals and as a retired third-generation livestock producer, she feels right at home at Franklin Veterinary Clinic.

Lynette was inspired to work with animals at a young age when a vet tended to a pregnant Hereford on her family’s property. She recalls being fascinated during the c-section procedure and her interest in vet medicine was instantly piqued.

A proud Colorado native, Lynette has both owned and showed registered cattle in her free time; she loves horseback riding and spending time at the racetrack watching horses run. She also enjoys being in the kitchen, tending to her garden and spending time with friends.

With a passion for the veterinary field, Winter is always open to learning new skills and is grateful to be a part of the Franklin Veterinary Clinic family.  Additionally, Winter is incredibly happy to have the opportunity to follow her ambition and goals to both learn and grow in the field.

In her time spent away from the clinic, Shenae utilizes her creativity through art and creates thoughtful keepsakes for Franklin Vet pet parents who have experienced a loss of their furry loved one.   Additionally, she has three four-legged companions of her own that she enjoys spending time with. She enjoys seeing happy tails wagging and pet parents smiling.

While most familiar with canine behavior and training, she has a newfound interest in equine health and enjoys assisting in every aspect of the large animal side of the clinic.

In her spare time, Lauren enjoys hiking, paddleboarding and traveling with her two pups, Bella and Jasper, who are always happy to tag along.
